Affinity Designer

I had to change my favorite design app for the iPad after the old design app rebranded and introduced a steep subscription fee, while also breaking its promise to keep existing features free. Frustrated, I switched to Affinity Designer for its appealing one-time payment model. However, I found its user interface lacking in usability and aesthetics. But it was still better that the $20 (NZD) for the better UI.
